Shikai State: In its Shikai state Setsumaru takes the form of a pair of dark scimiatrs. At the end of the hilts on both blades are a pair of skulls, with chains extending from their mouths. The chains on both swords will reach up to 3ft in length, which provides Jushiro with the ability to use unique melee attacks. The edges of both blades seems to be of a silver lining. On the sides of the blades is what seems to be golden chains extending to the tip of the blades.

Setsumaru’s ability is to use Reiryoku/Reiatsu in order to attack or defend. It works in such a way that Setsumaru can absorb a percentage of reiatsu used from an attack against it. By doing so Setsumaru is capable of absorbing up to 15% of an opponent’s attack. This means the attack or technique used will only be at 85% of its true power. Not only does Setsumaru absorb a portion of reiatsu from an attack. But the amount absorb also adds even more potency to Setsumaru’s own techniques. And by doing so also Setsumaru to overpower techniques used against it. It doesn’t matter what kind of technique it is, once there is Reiatsu flowing through it. It will become affected by Setsumaru’s ability to absorb and over power someone’s attack. The Absorption is instantaneous and will add both power and speed to the attacks used by Setsumaru. However Setsumaru can only absorb reiatsu from a technique after every 3 posts. This means after each time this ability which is a passive one is used. Jushiro will have to wait a further 3 posts before doing so again. Moving on from Setsumaru’s most basic abilities, it is also quite capable of mimicking/ copying techniques used against it. This means Setsumaru can mimic any attack or technique whatsoever. However these attacks/techniques must require Reiryoku/Reiatsu for it to work. By doing this Setsumaru can send the same attack used against it back at an opponent. With even greater strength and speed. This comes as a result of Setsumaru’s already existing abilities working in conjunction with each other. Keep in mind though that nothing is without limits. Once something is copied it will be stored as a memory of Setsumaru to be used later. It is not permanently stored and generally last until the end of the current battle.


Techniques:

Mokuzen~ Before your very eyes
Level: Shikai/Bankai
Description:

Mokuzen allows for the copying and mimicking of techniques used against Jushiro. These techniques/abilities must require Reiryoku/Reiatsu for said techniques to work. This means whatever it is, as long as there is Reiryoku/Reiatsu flowing through something it will be affected. Mokuzen will manifest as a pair of eyes spanning up to 3 ft wide for each. The eyes will appear behind and a little above Jushiro’s head. The sclera of the eyes will be red in appearance. The iris will be of a golden golden, with the pupil being tiny black skulls inside. The eyes themselves looks demonic more than anything. The eyes will move along with Jushiro as if attached to him, although they’re not. Once the eyes look upon a technique used, it will understand the mechanics of the technique. The Reiryuoku/Reiatsu build up that allows it to function. And by doing so, Setsumaru can mimic the technique and either use it instantly or store it for later use. This later use must be by the end of the battle, since one Setsumaru is sealed. It will lose all that was copied or mimic during said battle. This is also one of the only times that Setsumaru doesn’t absorb reiatsu from a technique to add even more potency to its own attack. It should also be noted that the eyes can be destroyed and should that happen. Jushiro will lose the technique stored and so has to start from scratch again. Also once something has been mimicked and used, that technique too is also lost until Jushiro could possibly copy it again.

Enma~ Ruler Of Hades

Description:

Enma is released a Blast much like that of a Cero, it carries over the properties of Setsumaru’s Shikai Abilities. Jushiro can bend the shape of the blast in order to suit certain purposes. Enma is released as a dark blast of energy, that can change shape according to Jushiro’s will. The energy released can take on a spiralling cone shape, a crescent moon shape, in the form of a whirlwind. Or even as the shape of your general Cero. These are normally the most common or rather the only shapes that will be used. Whatever shape this particular technique takes on. It will be able to absorb up to 15% of an opponents technique. And by doing so will add even more potency and could help in overpowering said technique. By absorbing a portion of reiatsu, Jushiro’s own attacks will become more powerful and will move much quicker. A whirlwind shape attack will generally be 18ft in height and 7ft in width. A crescent shaped attack will be 10 in length and at least 4ft wide. A spiral shaped attack will generally be up to 12ft in length and about 5ft wide.

Kyuusen Sajiki~ Shield of Hades

Description:

Kyuusen Saijiki normally manifest as a shield that protects Jushiro from harm. To be more precise the Shield is actually a dome that allows for protection from all angles. The Dome in in the shape of a skull that reaches up to 15ft in height and width. The Dome like most of Jushiro’s abilities posses the ability to absorb Reiatsu from techniques used against it. Thus lessening the effects of techniques that will aim to break through it. The amount absorb is normally up to 15 percent.
