Marcelo's Zanpakuto is longer than a normal katana blade by several inches.
Shikai State: Upon entering Shikai, Marcelo loses his zanpakuto. He grows long wolf-like claws and fangs that are strong enough to fight off another shinigami's zanpakuto. His strength and speed increase drastically.

Name: Wolf's Howl

Description: Marcelo releases a screech infused with his reaitsu that is capable of bouncing attack backs as well as leveling the opponents defenses. An opponent who hears this screech could be temporarily deafened and if close enough would be blown back by the attack suffering damage. Its strength can vary depending on how much reaitsu is placed into it.
Name: Wolf's Claw

Description: Marcelo claws glow white and become slightly longer. The strength of his claws and furthered allowing him to be able to cut most things in two.
Name: Shadow Step
level: Shikai
Description: Marcelo's variation of Flash Step. This technique due to Marcelo's new found speed surpasses a regular flash step. It works as an illusion at high speeds that produces multiple After Images after he steps that blurs his original outline confusing his opponents.
