Alone and bleeding.

Rina growled slightly as she finished writing down a report on something someone had reported to her, now she had nothing to do at all. “ Why the hell did I even take this job?” she scowled, taking the look of innocence off her face. Sure Rina may not act it at times, but she is a very emotion all being. Slowly she stood up chucking a glass across the room, causing it to shatter as it hit the ground. “Oh, Darn it now I have to clean that up.” She practically screamed. Slowly she walked over to the glass and started to pick up the tinny pieces and throw them away. She slowly stood back up and looked at her bleeding finger, she must have cut it when she was picking up the glass.

Rina stood there and watched as the blood ran down her finger, as she watched it she laid down on her desk. “Why?” she thought as she placed the right index finger in her mouth to stop it from bleeding all over the place. “why am I this way” her eyes slowly closed as tears ran down her face.

The door was opened into the room and a breeze suddenly came inside as Shinko appeared from a quick flash step. He had intended on visiting the 8th Division captain when he heard that shattering sound from the glass and the screaming. He noticed the broken glass on the ground and that she was sucking her finger to stop the bleeding. He then sighed...it wasnt a grave situation but Shinko walked up to her and helped her throw the rest of the glass away.

Once all the glass was gone he wiped his hand on the ground to make sure all the glass was gone. He didnt feel any glass and then he stood at looked at Rina, the normal calm captain seemed to have something troubling her.

"Anything wrong Rina-san?", he asked

At the sound of the voice Rina shot up her face full of horror, quickly she wiped her tears and pulled her finger from her mouth. With out any hesitation Rian regained her composer, carefully pushing her long hair out of her face she replied to his question calmly “Nothing is wrong…. Why would you say that?” Quickly she jumped off her desk and stood in front of Shinko, her green eyes narrowed and her hands on her hips.

“Is there something I can help you with…. Shinko-sama?” she asked her,tough burning from the word sama. As she waited for a response she looked him up and down like she was expecting to find interest in doing so, but her expression did not change, after him possibly seeing her cry she would rather not have him see her have another emotional brake down.

Shinko being the obversant person who was noticed she wiped tears from her eyes as well as quickly changing her composure. His eyes quickly looked around the room. He noticed nothing was out of place and then he turned back at her. The normally quite, kind-hearted ye easily angered Captain...Shinko seemed curious about her...something about her. Was she hiding something...was she in pain?

"You just seemed a little on egde. However I just came to get to know some of the other captains more. Possibly become friends? Ohh and theres no need for the sama, we are in your Division after all", he said kindly with a smile on his face.

Shinko was aware Rina was another fast Captain in the Soul Society...he found this interesting and he thought perhaps the two could get along.

As Rina heard him speak she looked at the ground slightly, she was truly losing her edge when it came down to her emotional control. Slowly Rina looked back up at him and gave a weary smile, sure he was on her side but so was her father at the time, rule one for her trust no one at first. “Friends?… Not a word I hear a lot….. but it has a nice enough ring to it.” She said slowly. Her eyes where slightly confused but she quickly turned away and shoved a report into her desk and locked it, before she turned back to Shinko she looked out the window it was roughly noon seeing how the sun was,

Not bothering to look at Shinko she spoke “What are you thinking about, Shinko-kun?” Rina asked crossing her arms over her chest in a slightly relaxed maner.

Shinko watched her carefully. She seemed to be a shy person, perhaps shealtered? He listened to what she said and how she said it...she spoke slowly and that fact that she didnt hear the word friend a lot implied to him that she could have been a lonely person? Shinko slightly shook his head, shaking the thought out of his head. Perhaps he was looking into things too much...perhaps he was thinking about it to hard. He walked behind her looking at the window. It was a nice day and she was in her office doing paperwork. True she was a captain and the paperwork had to be done...But then again a break had to be done every now and then as well.

Shinko noticed that she asked him what he was thinking about it. Was he so focused on trying to figure out Rina that it became obvious? Shinko decided he wanted to prove he wanted to be friends with Rina so to do that hed be completely honest with her.

"Oh, it isnt much. I just find you to be a interesting person. Sometimes yelling sometimes so serene...its puzzling and I find myself just curious. Hope you dont mind", he said softly yet clearly.

Rina flinched slightly when she felt him move behind her, she was somewhat scared of him but she was not going to let him know that, in fear he was just going to take advantage of her fear. Slowly she allowed her self to relax once she realized that he was not going to do anything to her, at that very moment. Carefully she tucked her bangs behind her ear and closed her eyes for a moment. “hummm maybe he wont try anything.” She thought to her self quietly.

As Shinko spoke Rina let out a soft laugh, Shinko was definitely, ignorant to a lot about her and in her mind that might be best for the time being. Slowly she turned her head and smiled at him as she said in a sweet voice “ Me interesting hardly, abnormal would be a better chose of words.” She paused and turned her whole body around to face him, “I find you interesting as well, Shinko-kun.” As she spoke she examined him closely, nothing about him seemed abnormal, but yet something indicated he was different. “Hummm iv had enough, of this office. How about we get to know each other more. Maybe go some where and do something.” She said in a rather calm tone of voice.

Shinko noticed that Rina flinched when he walked closer but he didnt say anything. He figured perhaps she want shealters..perhaps she was scared of other people. Nevertheless he would try to break her out of her shell...at least towards him.

He looked outside again at the beautiful day when he heard he laugh. As she smiled at him and smiled back. "Well abnormal things tend to be the most interesting", he said. "Me, interesting? Im just your everyday captain", he said with a slight chuckle. When she said that they should do something and get to know each other more he nodded his head, "Sounds like a good idea, he said calmly before adding on, "Anywhere you'd like to go?"

Rinas face stayed calm as she listened to him, he really was interesting but she was not in the mood to star an argument over such a simple matter. As soon a he asked her if there was any where shed like to go, she knew she was at a rode block. “umm well.. im not sure. How about you, after all you most likely will come up with something better then I will” She said rubbing the back of her head slightly messing up her hair.

As she waited for him to respond she ran around the room locking desks compartments, and making sure everything was in order for later. The she sat down on the top of her desk, her legs dangeling off the edge and her hands in her lap.

"Well, we could just walk around the Seireitei and see what we can find...perhaps something to do will just pop up. Plus we could always talk while we wander", he said as he backed up and waited for her by the door.

The Seireitei might have something to do and even if they couldnt find anything they could keep each other company and learn more about one another.
