Personality: Dosu is a lazy man who prefers laying about to fighting, but he will fight if it is needed. He has a strong sense of honor and he knows what he wants to achieve but he does not mind taking it easy at times, he believes that all work and no relaxation will kill. He is a very caring man, even if he does not always show it because he can be rough in his methods of being kind, he claims his lazyyness is to blame. In battle, he fights fiercely because he has a strong will to survive, he wants to survive to see the world enter a state of perfect equilibrium. He has no problem with the shinigami or hollow/arrancar but he does wish they would stop fighting. He is a sad person underneath this all, he lost his life as a shinigami ,when he was attacked and left as a vizard, and he is angry and sad about it at the same time but he tries to do other things to take his mind off it.


Appearance: Dosu has brown, shaggy hair that is normally shouder length but he ties it up in a pony tail which makes it appear shorter. He keeps his Zanpakuto at his waist in his sheath on his left side attached to a belt. He has light, blue eyes that appear slightly discoloured, they have grey patches and slight yellow parts as well and he wears a pair of glasses over them, nothing special. He wears a white scarf wrapped around his neck with the ends loose down his shoulders behind him, A loose fitting, navy blue shirt and loose, black trousers with pockets up the legs and black, brown hiking boots and a black leather coat that goes down to his knees.

Inner Hollow's Name: Rabadilla

Unique Ability: The mask gives no really unique ability, it powers Dosu up with the normal abilities he would be allowed with the mask. The main thing it increases is Dosu's already immense speed.

History/Background:
Shinigami academy arc: Dosu enrolled at the academy and succeeded in most of the lessons, however, he could not perfrom any Kido which got him a lot of embarrassment and hassle. He did, however, excel at sword fighting and Shunpo, he was the fastest student at the academy, his speed matched those in squad at about 4th seat and some higher. He was one of the earliest people around to have his Zanpakuto speak to him and he had achieved Shikai before he graduated, which more than made up for his lack of Kido. He graduated a few months later and was assigned to 3rd squad.

3rd squad arc: Dosu was placed in 3rd squad at 7th seat but made his way to 5th seat very fast after impressing other members by defeating the lieutenant in a sword fight. He worked hard to make his way up in the ranks, he would take any available missions and would help others around so that the higher powers would take notice and promote him, he knew he was of worthy skill.
He went on one mission which changed a lot of his life, he was sent to the world of the living to defeat a strong Arrancar that had shown up. When Dosu arrived, he saw that it was more than one arrancar, he was about to have to face 3. He faced them well, and took one down with a well timed slash to the throat before he began to feel pressure and faced trouble, even while using Shikai. He requested backup and had to face the two remaining arrancar for over half an hour before others showed up and helped him beat them. He was promoted to 3rd seat for doing so well, considering the situation.
He then challenged the lieutenant for the position of lieutenant and it was allowed and it would be official if he won the fight, neither man could use Shikai or Bankai. They had 3 days to prepare and during that time, Dosu trained intensely, he was not going to lose. The 2 met in front of a crowd of many shinigami and began their fight. Dosu gained the early advantage by forcing the lieutenant back with his superior sword skills and it went more evenly for 10 minutes of intense sword fighting, they were both giving it their all and neither were backing down. The fight ended abruptly when the world of the living was attacked by a large force of Hollows. The officials decided that it would be turned into a competition, whoever killed more Hollows won the position. They headed out and began to kill the hollows, they were going through the hollows fast but the lieutenant was going through more. Dosu was about to catch up to him when he noticed the lieutenant was being taken down by Hollows and he ran in and saved the lieutenant, he fought to protect his lietenant, he may of been challenging the man for the position but he was still a higher up for the time being. They headed back to Sereitei and the lieutenant announced that Dosu was now the new lieutenant, he had saved his life and this was the reward. Dosu thanked the now ex-lieutenant and gave him a party to thank him for his hard work and dedication.

End of shinigami arc: Dosu was having a good time as a lieutenant, he had realised that he had to work harder which kind of got him bummed but he was still proud of his achievement. He was told by his captain to go and investigate the rumour of something strange happening in the outskirts of the rukongai. Dosu arrived at the site and was immediately attacked by a man in a mask wielding a zanpakuto, the man was too fast for Dosu to keep up with and he soon fell in battle, he had managed to smash the mask but never got to see the guy's face because he fell over, he was missing a leg, he fell unconcious.
He woke up in a smashed up building full of dead people and shards of a mask in front of him, had he done this and how had hils leg regrown? He then felt it in the back of his mind, a voice said "Hello my good sir, the name is Rabadilla and this is my body now, go away."
Dosu was then standing in the sands of his soul and staring himself in that face, except the other him had all his colour reversed from dosu and his skin was bone white. Rabadilla drew his sword and charged Dosu, he was caught unaware by this whole obscene thing and was overpowered quickly, he then realised that his was a fight for his soul and he would need to win, he fought back and almost got the upper hand. While the inner battle went on, the outer him was taken over by the hollow, his body was almost fully covered in the hollow substance, everything apart from the left leg. The hollow Dosu attacked the seireitei and started to take people down at an alarming rate until he was faced by a captain, the captain matched the hollow Dosu in battle but was reluctant to strike because they realised who was behind the mask and was not sure what to do, another captain came by and pinned him down. The inner battle was now beggining to turn in Dosu's favour, he had used shikai and was on his way to victory and he then finished it with mercy, he had his blade to the hollow's throat and said "You are bested Rabadilla, you shall now lend me power or you will perish." The hollow reluctantly agreed but threatened that he would take over the instant that Dosu slipped up, Dosu then woke up. The hollow form had dispersed and Dosu was not lying on the floor, bound by chains and his clothes in tatters. He was faced by some captains who had told him he was banished from the soul society because he was now a threat with the hollow he contained but they were letting him leave alive because they knew him and trusted that he would gain control of his hollow and not cause trouble. He let out a single tear and turned from the captains and said "I understand. Farwell, you will have no trouble from me again."
He grabbed his zanpakuto and headed out to the world of the living.

Current day arc: Dosu has now gained more control over his hollow, he has not ahcieved Bankai and he doe snot want to either, he is happy with the power he has now and he believes that his days of fighting are gone, he now lives amongst humans. He goes to school, at times, and lives in an abandoned part of Karakura town. This is Dosu's story so far.

Dosu saw Gakuta now, he was releasing an enormous amount of reiatsu, It was more fearsome than his own reiatsu but that was not going to stand in Dosu's way. Dosu focused and tried to see if the mask had any hidden abilities, a voice from within said "Fly high and destroy all those who oppose you."
He then felt it, his back was feeling strange, he thought on what who he presumed was Rabadilla said and thought maybe he meant wings. He focused on the hollow's voice and was suddenly encased in dark blue reiatsu and then he noticed his back, there were two wings of bone coming from his back. The reiatsu began to blast outwards, it would not affect Gakuta too badly from where he was but it was more than Dosu had managed to muster ever before. Dosu looked and saw that from his shoulders had giant wings of bone from them, he was amazed, they were as big as he was.
He moved them about to get a feel of them, he knew this was another ability he had gained from his mask, he presumed it was a unique ability seeing as Gakuta had done nothing like this and probably had his own unique ability, they reminded him of Zanpakto. Dosu made one visible step and then he was in front of Gakuta, thrusting his Zanpakuto towards Gakuta's throat and was wrapping these wings around Gakuta and him so Gakuta could not escape, there was no way he was going to lose, he could do this, he would make use of this newly obtained power and defeat Gakuta.
