Battle Between the Captains : 2nd and 5th Division Collide (Non-storyline)

A calm breeze blew on the desolate battle grounds as Shinko stood looking up at the sky. He had asked the captain of the 5th Division if he would care for a spare on this lovely day. He stood hishands in his pockets as he closed his eyes, letting the wind blow threw his hair. His haori blew in the wind as well as his zanpakuto which was strapped to his side. He awaited the other captain.

Goken was excited that his fellow rival Shinko wanted a spar and was happy to accept his chanlleneg. The short figure walked onto the battle ground as the wind swept across his body making his white and black hair dance. He had the nick name the flamming racoon, which was name becuase of his hair and his zanpatkutou abilities. He let out a ywan as he walked and then saw his opponent in the distance. "it looks like you're early to get you're ass kick i see. But lets not waste anytime as the weather seems good."said Goken as he looked up in the sky as his eyes match the colour of the clear blue sky. Goken was now ready to see how powerful his rival was and what difference they had between each other over the years since they knew each other. Goken then drew his twin zanpaktou that was on his back and held onto it tightly as he got ready for his opponent to make the first move. He planted his right foot in the ground as he got ready to make his stance. It was flawless as he didnt have any openings to reveal to his opponent. "lets see what you got my old friend"said Goken as he let out a fox grin smile.

"Alright...Lets see who has become stronger since the academy", Shinko said before the wind blew once again. Shinko's sword was straped to the left side of his body and it shook slightly in the wind. He smiled as he brought his left hand down to the sheathe and he placed his thumb on the bottom of the handguard. He gracefully sank into a stance and using his left thumb he pushed the handguard thus slightly revealing his zanpakuto. Suddenly his hand hand grabbed the blade by the hilt drawing it slightly. Instantly Shinko then disappeared appearing infront of Goken in the same stance and he fully drew his blade quickly slashing diagonally, aiming to cut the man from his waist to his shoulder.

Goken eyes widen as he saw his opponent disappear from where he was at. he then watch as his opponet was about to draw his sword but disappeared before he could see it drawn. Suddenly Shinko appeared in front of Goken as a slash was aimed at his waist area. Goken successful block the attack with the Zanpaktou that was in his left hand. As the blades clash, Goken found his body moving back as the force pushed him back. "shimatta his speed is out of this world i could hardly block his katana."said Goken as he was thinking to himself as he blocked the slash. He then quickly push the force back onto Shinko as he kept his balance at bay. He then used the Katana in his right hand to slash as his opponent. But just before the slash Goken would would shunpo at the left side of his opponet and aim a slash with the sowrd in his left hand instead. Goken was skill enough with handling fast opponent but he would have to use his twin zanpaktou to its fullest in order to keep this fight balance.

Shinko brought his hand to the dull side of his katana, pushing it thus bringing more force onto Goken. Shinko then narrowed his eyes as he noticed Goken's second Katana coming at him and he noticed Goken used Shunpo to switch the angle of attack. Shinko kept his calm and suddenly without a sound Shinko was gone. "Pretty impressive but it will take much more than that to keep up with me", he said as he reappeared on his side in the air, his zanpakuto in his clenched fist and he brought it down aiming to stab the man in his shoulder. He had dodged using a slight Shunpo. Since he wasnt truely into the battle yet he held back in his strength but mostly in his speed and he thought Goken would do the same. After all you'd like to enjoy a battle with your rival as well as try and overcome them...but if you showed all your tricks in the beginning you risk the match because you are unaware of your if your opponent has an ace in the hole.

Goken smiled as he started to study Shinko movements, but it would be interesting to see how his rival would hold up against his attacks. Goken prepared himself as Shinko shunpo from the side and then aim an attack towards his shoulders. "Hmmph so he slowed down his movements, going soft on me i see."said Goken as he was thinking to himself as he decided to back flip and evaded the attack towards his shoulders. He then slid couple meters away from Shinko then held the Zanpaktou in his right hand and the charged at Shinko. The attack would come at Shinko at a head on attack but just before he would reach in range Goken would then shunpo behind Shinko and make a 360 rotation. By doing this both his Zanpaktou would be a rotating at fast pace, as multiple slash was aimed at Shinko leg area to his upper thigh. Goken was using his height as an advantage against Shinko, he had done this multiple time against his opponent.

Shinko stabbed his blade into the ground after it missed slicing Goken. His blade stood erect into the ground stabbed several inches, it was inside the ground and stury. He noticed Goken dash at him but he didnt attempt to pull his should out of the ground, his eyes watched Goken carefully and he noticed the man shunpo'd behind him. Shinko smirked and still holding the hilt of the blade he pushed down it thus pushing him in the air, doding the slash to his leg and thigh. He then pulled his sword out of the ground and flipped over Goken holding his sword straight as he did so, thus make a ring shape slash aimed to cut deeply into Goken's shoulder. He would land several feet behind Goken, his back turned to the man.

As Goken came into contact with Shinko he saw how his opponent reactted towards his rotating attack and was impressed with Shinko reaction. That wasn't all as Shinko played out an attack towards Goken, with quick reaction Goken shifted his body weight by rolling away. But his rival blade came into contact and merely slice Goken top shoulder. It wasn't a deep cut but it was a warning towards Goken. As he rolled away he saw that his opponent back was turned towards him. "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six! Bakudō number 61 Rikujōkōrō Six Rods Prison of Light "said Goken as he commande the spell that would allow his opponet to be trap. He Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams Goken took the chance to shunpo and get a chance to attack him from the back. He would do this when he atcually get to trap Shinko. If he missed upon trapping him He would follow up with him aiming a an attack towards his chest area.

Shinko landed on his feet after only slightly grazing Goken's shoulder. He was going to counter attack when he began hearing the incantation to a Bakudo. Shinko's eyes widened as Goken was closer to finishing the incantation and he then clenched his right fist, where he held his zanpakuto. Shinko towards the end then mumbled...""Hadou Four...", and when Goken finished his incantation so did Shinko and when the six beams of light came at Shinko nothing would be there, like he disappeared in an instant. Goken would suddenly feel a finger on his left shoulder and he would hear a single word being spoken at that same time, "Byakurai...". Shinko would have effectly dodged the Bakudo and if his attack was successful he would have attacked Goken's shoulder with a powerful Byakurai before the man shunpo'd away for his following attack. If the attack hit Goken wouldnt be able to use his left arm for the rest of the battle.

As Goken attacks failed one after the other it was becoming abit annoying at the moment. With his opponent disappering from the scene Goken observed how fast he was and took that into consideration. Suddenly as Goken could hear something and to his surprise he would be falling to something dangerous. Lightning burst through on what it seems to be Goken Haori, it would seem that Goken got hit but only a image of himself could be seen as he shunpo out leaving his Haori. It was a little trick that Goken had learn from training his shunpo, but now he had to deal with his opponent once more. As he appeared at a 10 meters from his opponent. "So it seems that you're well skill as usual in you're speed. I shall give it to you that you are much faster than me. But when it comes to true battle of swords i'm much better than you."said Goken as he shunpo just after he had finish talking at a closer range. He then held the blade in his left hand in a different angle. Then followed up with his right blade making a direct straight forward attack. The attack would be aimed at Shinko right rib section as the sword that was held in Goken left hand come into play with a follow up attack aiming at the Shinko hand that held his blade. If that eventaully fail Goken could make a right spin and aim a kick towards Shinko stomach area sending him flying in a near by wall.

Shinko noticed his attacked missed again and he turned his head towards where his opponent was now. He lowed his hand, and took a defensive fighting stance as Goken talked. "Perhaps now...But what if I changed the game entirely", Shinko said as he noticed Goken now was coming at him at fast speeds. He sweeped the first attack sending it to its side and then brought his arm around to block the second attack but missed slightly causing a scratch to appear on his haori sleeve. A small cut appeared on his arm from the 2nd attack. Shinko narrowed his eyes as he brought his arms together to block the kick. He was sent to the wall but flipped and touched the wall with his foot. While he did this me mumbled to himself, "Darken the sky, completely cover the light, and let the demons of darkness run and play...", he said and then he pushed off heading towards Goken like a bullet. "Makura!". He then opened his left palm and his sword divided into two black katanas one in each hand. Shinko then began to spin holding the blades at each end forming a mini human tornado bullet, heading straight from Goken.

As Goken attacks came into play He knew that he at least grazed Shinko but it was still not over yet. Shinko then block Goken kick but was sent flying by the and found himself on the wall. Goken smile but then the smile was swept from his face as if seem that Shinko was about to do something different. Goken then hopped back as he tried to give himself some space from his opponent. He then notice as his opponent release his shikai, A smile could be seen on Goken face as Shinko suddenly charge in towards him like a human drill. "Such a wasted move how can you see when you're opponent will counter you're attack when you're vision is block from that spinning motion."said Goken as he was thinking to himself as he place one hand forward and the then said under his breath. "way of destruction number 58 Tenran" as A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards Shinko as he came toward Goken. Surely this would be a direct hit since Shinko would be unable to counter Goken attack while spinning like a human drill. The out come of the battle could be decided once the attack would come into play.
